Chartreuse Drape Top and Espresso Trouser

The Pinterest hero piece, on a slower day. A client asked for the same chartreuse cowl drape I had built her for work, but in a lighter weight, easier to layer with a robe at home or with sandals on a long Sunday brunch. She wore the work version twice a week. She wanted a softer version for the version of herself she liked better.

So we built her a second one in viscose. The drape is the same, the cowl is the same, but the weight of the fabric is half the work piece and the line sits looser at the hip. The trouser is espresso wide leg in the same fluid fabric, cut to read as one piece with the top when she stands in front of a mirror without trying. We finished the seams in french bound seams so the top can be worn inside out for a long weekend on the boat if she does not feel like packing twice.

She wears this to read the paper in. I am told the paper still gets read.
