Chartreuse Cowl Drape Top and Espresso Trouser

This is the look that became the most saved Dé-light piece on Pinterest. The first one was built for a Head of Marketing who told me she was tired of being told she dressed too conservatively. She did not dress too conservatively. She dressed too carefully. There is a difference, and you fix it with colour, not with cut.

The chartreuse cowl drape gathers across the chest and waist, asymmetric and intentional, the fabric falling from the shoulder into a soft cape line on one side and a fitted side seam on the other. The cowl is generous enough to hold weight without dragging the neckline down, which is the failure mode of most drape tops at this price point. The espresso trouser is full leg, deep, and lets the yellow speak.
