Royal Blue Asymmetric Peplum and Cream Trouser Set

I built this for an architect who pitches to developers in rooms where almost every face is male and most of them have already decided whether they trust her before the slides open. She told me she did not want to be loud. She wanted to be unmissable.

The royal blue holds attention without working too hard at it. The asymmetric peplum hem cuts the silhouette like a building she designed, not like a top off a rack: a clean diagonal from hip to thigh that reads as architecture, not as fashion. Long sleeves, mock neck, the bodice cut close to the rib so it does not drift when she gestures at the screen. The cream trousers ground the look and let the blue do the work.

She wore it to a final pitch in March. The room asked technical questions for forty minutes and then signed within the week. The project broke ground in May. She has reordered the same cut in a deeper ink blue, which is what she wears now to investor presentations.
